Prayer - Pt 13

Have you ever been embarrassed or even afraid to pray for things in a definite way for fear that God would not answer your prayer?

Have you ever thought: "Father, what if you don't answer this prayer? It's going to look like prayer doesn't work!"

You might think: "Why put the blame on God if the prayer is not answered? Why not put it on yourself?"

Are you ever caught thinking that you have put your faith and trust in God in your prayer and that if He does not do what you've requested, it really would look like He had failed?

Or that you had failed?

Ponder this. Pray about this. The will of God is a key that unlocks many puzzles regarding prayer.

What have you been asking God for?

Did you ask first if it was His will?

If not, why not spend some time in prayer right now asking Him to show you His will on the matter?
