Prayer - Part 17

If you expect God to answer your prayers, you must ask in accordance with His will (1John 5:14)

How do I know His will?

John 15:7 (NASB) "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you.

Promises:

  1. If you are to know the will of God, you must _______________ in Him.

"abide" è remaining or continuing, as to endure.

What can happen to your interpretation of God and His will if you:

  1. Take His words out of context

  2. Do not meditate on His words

  3. Do not study to get complete meaning (maybe using commentaries, thesaurus, concordances, etc)

  4. Do not abide in Him

    5.  

     

     

  5. Do not allow His words to abide in you
