Prayer - Part 19
3 basic ways to know the will of God:
Third way…
John 15:7 (NASB) "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you."
Words
è "rhema""logos"
"rhema"
Denotes that which is spoken, what is uttered in speech or writing…the distinction in "rhema" as opposed to "logos" is exemplified in the injunction of "take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" Ephesians 6:17.
"Reference is not so much to the whole Bible, but to the individual Scripture which the Spirit brings to our attention for use in time of need, a prerequisite being the regular storing of the mind with Scripture"
