Prayer - Part 20

What if - you are still not clear on the will of the Lord, the issue at hand has no specific answer in the Word, or there is no "rhema" from God? What now?

Then - go to the Lord and say "Father, I do not know how to pray. This is what I want or think (then tell Him) but I only want your will for me…or for whom/what ever. Above all else, glorify Yourself."

He will be honoring the prayer "Thy will be done"

He is your Father

We need to cooperate.

Proverbs 3:5,6 NASB) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding.

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

What if - you think you know God's will, you trust and wait, but it does not come about?

Sometimes, we grab a Scripture --

 

Jame 4:14 (NASB) Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are [just] a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

15 Instead, [you ought] to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and also do this or that."

These are not "Cure-all" verses, are they?

NOTE: "the prayer offered in faith." - "in faith" means God has confirmed His will to heal that particular person.
